My Scents of Hope

A place for caregivers, family members, and individuals with Cerebral Palsy

but to one person you may be the world.”

About My Scents of Hope

Hi, my name is Christie and I’m a wife to an amazing man whom is in the military, a homeschooling Mama to five beautiful girls including one special lady that lives with cerebral palsy, an entrepreneur, and a wellness advocate with a passion for natural solutions, specializing in essential oils.

I never thought my life would turn out the way it has. Each morning I wake up ready to the face the day and before long I start to wonder how I can possibly get through it all.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my crazy, hectic, not so normal life, but there are days when I say to myself, “I just can’t handle this any longer.”  I have moments where I wonder what I did to deserve this or what my little girl could have done to deserve to suffer so much.  If you are here, I know you know exactly what I am talking about and that, my friends, is why I have created this group.

My  Scents of Hope was created with the hopes of bringing caregivers, siblings, and individuals living with cerebral palsy a place to connect.  A place to make friends.  A place to give you hope in life when things seem like they just can’t get any worse (Which by the way, I learned years ago to never say, because believe me,  once it’s said, it WILL get worse!).

My Scents of Hope is a place where you , the readers actually get a chance to share YOUR story with the rest of us by writing and publishing your own article, connecting with us through our chats for support, receive  answers to questions, and most of all to make friends with others living a life just like yours.

We will hear from parents, siblings, medical workers, and we will grieve with families that have suffered the loss of their child with cerebral palsy as well.  All in a friendly, supportive, and non judgemental atmosphere.  We will also be blessed with stories from our heroes that live with cerebral palsy each and every day.

Imagine the possibilities if we all come together to support and teach what we have learned.  Get connected and partner with My Scents of Hope to help us build our community of support.  The more active we all become, the better our cerebral palsy support system will be!  We shouldn’t have to do this alone, and now, we don’t!

To share your story or write an article on any topic related to cerebral palsy, send an email to and I’ll get back to you shortly!

Don’t forget to interact with us by leaving us comments on our posts and joining our chat pages today.

I hope to hear from you soon,
